Susi Sweet Pea Fairy
Storyteller
Susi has been an active storyteller for many years, appearing to her audiences as Susi Sweet Pea the Fairy.
A lover of enchantment, her favourite tales usually incorporate the wee folk, dragons and giants.
Susi sees storytelling as a way of escaping, for seeking wisdom and for healing minds and hearts. Stories heal people in the telling of them and the listening to them. This a valuable medicine for all ages.
Susi Sweet Pea Fairy is available for all kinds of family and intergenerational events. Providing storytelling sessions, interactive activities and workshops for all.
Susi can tell stories in her human form but rather enjoys her role as Susi Sweet Pea Fairy the Storyteller. Susi uses music in her work including bodhran, twinkle drums and her wooden fairy flute.
Susi Briggs has been a registered storyteller with the Scottish Storytelling Centre for over a decade. Susi is also registered with Live Literature at the Scottish Book Trust.
